What Makes Carl Hiaasen Tick?

Who is Carl Hiaasen?
Well if you take a look at his website you will find you may already know Carl Hiaasen. He is the writter of many books, two of which have been made into major motion pictures: Strip Tease and Hoot.
He has his own column and according to his website, it has pissed off the people of south Florida many times.

What's his writing like?
Just by reading some of the headlines to his articles in the Miami Herald , you can tell that his writings are full of opinion. He is straight to the point and seems to have little patience for stupidity.

What are his values?
After reading about his book Team Rodent I know that his values do not reflect Disney's at all.

What are his 'issues'?
For some reason, Hiaasen has a problem with Disney and has written Team Roddent. Team Roddent tells of how he feels Disney tells us that our values need to reflect theirs and Hiaasen disagrees with that.

Does he have 'issues'?
Obliviously he has issues with people from south Florida. Wikipedia says that he describes the people of south Florida as greedy businessmen, corrupt politicians, dumb blondes, apathetic retirees, intellectually challenged tourists, hard-luck redneck cooters, and militant ecoteurs. With that, its not hard to figure out why the people of south Florida have issues with Hiaasen.
